Synopsis


continue [levels]


Description


The continue statement continues one or more levels of a while, for or until, skipping the remaining body.

If no arguments are supplied then 1 level is continued.


Examples


for i in a b c d e ; do
  if [ $i = "b" ] ; then 
	continue ;
   fi
  echo $i
done
